Christian Practices

My church is starting a 15 week discussion on Christian Practices in the new year. It is a way for us to jump-start an active faith to start off the year.

A Christian practice is an intentional Christian activity, enacted in isolation or in community, in order to help the individual imagine, participate, and share in the kingdom of God.

Intentional… in isolation or in community… help… imagine… participate… share in the kingdom of God

If this is piques your interest, you should join us on Sunday mornings

Or check out the podcast

Or join a temporary Practice Group

That meets over good coffee or food

Or via Skype, iChat, or Google Hangouts

If you show evidence that you participated in all 7 practices through the 15 weeks of the challenge, you’ll get a free t-shirt.

Oh, you don’t even have to be a Christian to participate. This might be a good way to check out the faith.

If you are interested, let me know.

Happy New Year!
